The City Council of Paiporta has hired four people for administrative assistance and concierge roles through the EMDONA and EMCORP 2026 programmes, with an investment of 104,921 euros.
The City Council of Paiporta has expanded its workforce with four new hires to strengthen the roles of administrative assistance and concierge in various municipal offices. The hiring is part of the employment programmes EMDONA 2026 and EMCORP 2026, promoted by LABORA, the Valencian Employment and Training Service.
The total investment amounts to 104,921 euros, of which 46,661 euros is provided by the City Council to complement regional subsidies. The management falls under the Department of Economy, Employment and Training, led by José Antonio Redondo.
The EMDONA 2026 programme targets the hiring of unemployed women, with preference given to those over 45 years old, aiming to facilitate their labour market integration through experience in local administration. Meanwhile, EMCORP 2026 prioritises young people under 30, especially those registered in the National Youth Guarantee System.
The hired individuals will perform administrative support and concierge duties, which will streamline internal management, improve public service, and enhance the quality of services provided by the City Council. This measure has a direct impact on residents, who will experience reduced waiting times for procedures and closer attention.
The Mayor of Paiporta, Vicent Ciscar, emphasised that "these programmes address two fundamental objectives: creating job opportunities for those who need to enter the labour market and, at the same time, strengthening the capacity of municipal services to respond to citizens." Ciscar added that the City Council's financial effort "improves public municipal services and continues the commitment to close citizen engagement."
The Councillor for Economy, José Antonio Redondo, noted that collaboration with LABORA "allows us to leverage tools that promote the labour integration of priority groups, such as women over 45 or unemployed youth." Redondo insisted that these new hires "will expedite administrative procedures, enhance in-person attention, and provide a higher quality public service."
The new hires are already operational and join the municipal workforce of Paiporta, which continues to work on improving public services following the floods of last October.
