The Town Hall of Alaquàs gathered this Tuesday the Local Security Board and CECOPAL to coordinate the device for the major festivities and the response to possible torrential rains. The celebrations will take place from 28 August to 12 September.
The Town Hall of Alaquàs held two meetings this Tuesday, 25 August, to finalise the security for the major festivities and the response to possible meteorological emergencies. The mayor, Toni Saura, presided over the Local Security Board and the Special Emergency Coordination Committee of the Municipal Action Plan (CECOPAL).
In the first meeting, the special device planned for the festivities, which will be held from 28 August to 12 September, was reviewed. The Government's subdelegate, José Rodríguez, the commissioner of the Local Police, Antonio Carrasco, and members of the Local, National, and Regional Police participated.
During the meeting, the protocols for the various events were reviewed, focusing on operational coordination and response to any incidents. The coordination protocol regarding gender violence between the Local and National Police was also renewed.
In the second meeting, CECOPAL addressed preventive measures against possible episodes of heavy rains, storms, wind, or flooding. The activation protocol for the municipal departments involved was worked on to ensure a quick and coordinated response.
As part of the prevention, the state of drainage systems and ditches in the municipality was reviewed. The aim is for the festivities to proceed safely and for the municipality to be prepared for any emergency situation.
