This figure consolidates this space as one of the main summer meeting points in the municipality, according to the report by the Department of Reconstruction.
The Deputy Mayor, Marian Val, has rated the reception of this resource as "very positive", which was launched as a free alternative in response to high temperatures while the reconstruction projects for the summer pool and the sports centre are being processed. The facilities include three pools and a large shaded and resting area.
These pools are part of the municipal project for climate refuges, an initiative by the City Council to offer accessible and safe spaces during episodes of extreme heat. "The response has been very positive," Val noted, highlighting that "many families are finding here an alternative to enjoy the summer."

In addition to the pools, the City Council is also running a free bus service to Pinedo beach, allowing residents to travel to the coast without using private vehicles. This service complements the summer measures promoted by the City Council, which also include the Summer Refuge.
The Mayor of Paiporta, Vicent Ciscar, has emphasized that "reconstruction is our priority" but that, in parallel, "cultural, sports, recreational, and social welfare policies are also being promoted."
