A municipal survey reveals that 96% of users at the Senior Centres of Ontinyent are satisfied or very satisfied with the programming for the 2025-2026 course.

96% of those participating in activities at the Senior Centres of Ontinyent declare themselves satisfied or very satisfied with the offerings for the 2025-2026 course, according to the results of a survey initiated by the City Council. The study, which involved 171 people, highlights that 83% are "very satisfied" and 12.9% are "satisfied".

The councillor for Active Seniors, Inma López, has valued these figures as a support for the municipal programming. "They allow us to highlight the positive response to the activities and to have direct information from the users to continue making improvements," she noted. The council's intention is to "continue advancing in a varied and quality programming that promotes active ageing, physical and emotional well-being, social relationships, and participation."

The survey was conducted among users of the senior centres in Ontinyent, which offer around 900 places throughout the course. The sample represents approximately 20% of the total places, although it could exceed 30% of actual participants, as some individuals attend more than one activity and could only evaluate one.

One of the most highly rated aspects is the work of the monitors: 90.6% of respondents are very satisfied with the professionals. The schedules also receive a positive rating, with 90.1% satisfaction. Among the users' proposals is the expansion of classes and measures to reduce waiting lists, which will be taken into account for future courses.

The facilities receive an 81.9% satisfaction rating. The Active Ageing Centre of Sant Rafel is the highest rated, while aspects related to space, ventilation, and other issues have been identified as needing improvement in the civic centres of Sant Josep and Llombo. Participation mechanisms, such as user councils, achieve an 88.6% positive rating.

The study also reflects a high degree of loyalty: 98.2% assure that they will return next course and 100% would recommend the activities to friends and family. Furthermore, the majority profile of participants is between 56 and 75 years old (87.1%), while only 10% are over 76 years old, a useful datum for adapting the programming to users' needs.
