The Glorieta in Ontinyent hosted the Nit Gran this Tuesday, with over 1,300 attendees and a musical show. The evening is part of the Majors Actius programme for the Moros y Cristianos festivities.
The Nit Gran in Ontinyent brought together over 1,300 people at the Glorieta this Tuesday, as one of the highlights of the special Majors Actius programme for the Moros y Cristianos festivities. The evening included a popular dinner attended by nearly 500 people and the musical show Divas Rebeldes.
The councillor for Majors Actius, Inma López, appreciated the response from participants and highlighted that the activity "allows us to share a night of celebration, togetherness, and brotherhood with the elderly of Ontinyent, who are a fundamental part of our city and also of our festivities." López emphasised that the recorded participation "demonstrates that our elders are eager to participate, to meet, and to enjoy a programme designed for them as well."
Attending the event were the Vice President of the Valencia Provincial Council, Natàlia Enguix, and the councillor for Fira, Festes i Tradicions, Àngels Muñoz, along with other councillors from the Ontinyent City Council, who shared the evening with the attendees.
The festive programme will continue this Thursday, 20th August, with several proposals: at 13:00, an acoustic performance by Rubén Terol at the Museu del Tèxtil; at 18:00, the Entrada de Bandas from the Plaza Mayor; at 21:00, Limbotheque also at the Museu del Tèxtil; at 23:30, the Alardos parade along the usual route; and at 00:30, a musical performance by S.O.S. at the Glorieta.
