Storms are expected, which may be accompanied by hail and strong gusts of wind, with an accumulated precipitation of 40 mm in one hour. The Sagunto City Council recommends taking extreme precautions and following the official warnings from the council, AEMET, and 112 CV at all times.
The council advises avoiding the use of vehicles unless absolutely necessary. If driving, it is recommended to use main roads and motorways, moderate speed, and increase the safety distance. In case of visibility problems, the safest option is to stop the car.
It is also advised not to cross or stay near ravines, riverbeds, or other areas where water may accumulate, as well as not to park in those places. It is important to secure awnings and shutters, keep drains clear, and remove any objects that water or wind could carry away.
Additionally, AEMET maintains a yellow alert for high temperatures between 13:00 and 20:59, with highs of up to 36 degrees. There is also a yellow alert for coastal phenomena during the same hours, with west winds of 40 to 55 km/h and gusts that could exceed 80 km/h.
