In light of this situation, outdoor activities in campuses and summer schools will be suspended during the alert period. The only exception is water games and activities in the pool.
The Oliva City Council reminds everyone to take extra precautions. Special attention should be given to elderly people, children, and those with chronic illnesses, who are the most vulnerable to extreme heat.
It is recommended to drink water frequently without waiting to feel thirsty, seek cool and shaded places, and avoid intense physical exercise during the hottest hours. It is also advisable to use protective creams, avoid alcoholic and caffeinated beverages, and wear light, loose, and cool clothing.
