Thirty-seven young people from Aldaia, aged between 14 and 18, participated in a new edition of the Youth Camp, held from July 19 to 26 at the La Marina hostel in Moraira, with adventure, sports, and community activities.
The municipality of Aldaia has concluded a new edition of its summer youth camp, which brought together 37 young people aged between 14 and 18 at the La Marina hostel in Moraira from July 19 to 26. The initiative, driven by the Youth Department of the Aldaia City Council, combined adventure activities, sports, and free time with spaces for community and participation over seven days.
The programme included guided excursions in kayaks and paddle surfing, beach games, animation activities, a palm painting workshop, and a talent night that highlighted the creativity and skills of the attendees. Community has been one of the central themes of the experience, with moments designed to foster new friendships and the personal development of the young people.
Additionally, each day included a space for a participants' assembly, a tool that encouraged active listening and the group's involvement in the development of the programme. Responsibility, respect, and teamwork were values reinforced during the stay.
With this initiative, the Aldaia City Council reaffirms its commitment to youth policies, offering educational leisure proposals that promote autonomy and community. The 37 participants enjoyed an enriching summer in a privileged setting like the coast of Moraira, as highlighted by the council.
The activity is part of the summer Youth programme of the municipality, which aims to create spaces for young people to share experiences and strengthen their bonds. The camp is a well-established annual event that this year has once again received a warm welcome from Aldaia families.
