The Valencian radio and television will broadcast more than seven hours live of the Entrada de Moros y Cristianos de Ontinyent this Friday, with a team of around fifty technicians and 11 cameras.
The regional broadcaster À Punt Media is all set to provide a special coverage of the Entrada de Moros y Cristianos de Ontinyent this Friday. The deployment will allow for over 7 hours of live broadcasting, involving a team of around fifty technicians.
The signal will start at 18:30 hours and continue until the end of the Christian Entrance, with a break to connect with the news programme NTC Nit. The broadcast will then resume with the Moorish Entrance until its conclusion. On the À Punt YouTube channel, the transmission will be uninterrupted and without commercial breaks.
Journalist Ferran Cano will once again lead the narration, supported on the ground by Berta Bàidez, Claudia Argent, and Empar Oltra. Various personalities linked to the world of the Moorish-Christian festival will also participate as commentators.
The technical operation includes a HD mobile unit and a total of 11 cameras, both fixed and mobile, distributed along the route. Some of them are equipped with radio links, and one is installed on a crane over 12 meters high. To capture the street atmosphere, two boom microphones will be used, one at the start and another following the music bands, along with an ambient sound system at various points on Avenida Daniel Gil.
The Municipal Services Department of the Ontinyent City Council has set up the platforms and necessary equipment for the broadcast, which also has the support of the communication department. The Societat de Festers collaborates by providing information and contacts for the commentators, who will be located in the association's premises Anima, made available for the occasion.
The route of the groups runs through the intersection of Avenida de l'Almaig with Calle Violinista Matas, Avenida Daniel Gil, the glorieta de Moros y Cristianos, and Plaza de la Concepción. This year, these spaces will feature special lighting with 55 ornamental arches, funded by a grant of 150,000 euros from the Valencia Provincial Council.
