The City Council of Alboraia has begun the replacement of the rubbish bins in the La Patacona neighbourhood, a change that will be completed in the coming days at various collection points in the area.
The new bins incorporate an opening system that allows users to deposit bags without needing to touch the lid with their hands. It is enough to push the bag itself for the lid to open and leave the waste inside.
The operation is different from that of the previous bins, so the council recommends that residents and visitors familiarise themselves with the new mechanism before using it.
The City Council thanks the community for their cooperation during the replacement and adaptation to the new bins.
