The Oliva Town Hall received this Thursday the official book of the Mare de Déu del Rebollet 2026 festivities, at an event with the presidents of the Festivities Board and the mayor.
The Oliva Town Hall hosted this Thursday the official handover of the book of the Mare de Déu del Rebollet 2026 festivities, the volume that includes the programme, history, and key figures of one of the municipality's most deeply rooted celebrations.
Attending the event were the presidents of the Rebollet 2026 Festivities, Elena Codina and Gregorio Torres, the mayor of Oliva, Yolanda Pastor, the councillor for Festivities, Álvaro Sánchez, as well as councillors and representatives from various political groups in the council.
The councillor for Festivities highlighted that the book represents "a recognition of all the entities and individuals linked to the festival", but also "a passage that allows us to delve into the very heart of these celebrations that are part of the roots and traditions of our town".
The Mare de Déu del Rebollet festivities are among the most representative of Oliva," noted Álvaro Sánchez.
For her part, the mayor invited all citizens to "join and participate in the celebration of our Patron" and thanked the Junta de Fiestas de la Mare de Déu del Rebollet for their efforts in organising the events and producing this year's book.

The book is now available for residents who wish to consult the complete programme of the patronal festivities, which will be held in honour of the Mare de Déu del Rebollet over the coming months. The publication includes the schedule of events, participating entities, and details of a tradition that gathers thousands of people in Oliva each year.
With this presentation, the Town Hall aims to encourage residents to participate in the scheduled events and to discover, through the book, the history and deep-rooted nature of festivities that are part of the municipality's identity.
