The Valencia City Council has opened the application period for the 2026 grants aimed at non-profit entities working against racism and xenophobia. The call, endowed with €235,000, will be open from August 7 to 27.
Non-profit entities in Valencia can now submit their applications for the municipal grants of 2026 that fund projects against racism and xenophobia. The Valencia City Council has opened the period, which will remain active from August 7 to 27.
The call has a total allocation of €235,000 and is divided into two lines of action. The first, with €60,000, focuses on community interventions in the city's neighbourhoods; the second, with €175,000, is aimed at socio-educational actions to promote intercultural coexistence and prevent racism.
In the first modality, each project can receive a maximum of €10,000 and must have a total budget of up to €20,000. In the second, proposals can apply for up to €35,000 per project. In both cases, the municipal contribution cannot exceed 80% of the total cost of the initiative.
Fundable actions include awareness-raising and training activities, workshops, talks, information campaigns, street actions, community participation proposals, and scenic, documentary or audiovisual creations. In the educational field, projects are contemplated for both formal and non-formal education, involving students, teaching staff, and families.
Interested entities must be legally established, non-profit, have a permanent headquarters or delegation in Valencia, and demonstrate experience in initiatives related to the purpose of the grants. Each organisation can submit a maximum of one project per modality.
The processing is carried out exclusively electronically through the municipal electronic headquarters, in the procedure BS.PN.15. With this line of support, the council reinforces its collaboration with the associative fabric to consolidate a more cohesive, diverse, and inclusive city.
