The Central Fallera Board has approved the advance payment of 75% of the subsidy to the 22 groups, which encompass 367 commissions. The advance amounts to 112,477.70 euros.
The Central Fallera Board of Valencia has activated the advance payment of 112,477.70 euros to the 22 falla groups registered with the body. This amount corresponds to 75% of the direct subsidy granted for the 2026 financial year and will allow these entities to have liquidity to launch their annual programming.
The measure, signed by the councillor for Fallas and executive president of the JCF, Santiago Ballester, represents direct support for an associative fabric that brings together 367 falla commissions in the city. The total subsidy amounts to 149,970.27 euros, which equates to an average aid of 408.64 euros per commission.
The distribution has been made based on the number of commissions integrated into each group, following the criteria set out in the call for applications. The 22 beneficiary entities have accredited compliance with the requirements and have submitted the advance request along with the corresponding responsible declarations.
The payment has been ordered prior to justification, at the request of the groups themselves. The remaining 25%, that is, 37,492.57 euros, will be paid once the justification of the activities carried out has been submitted and verified.
With this action, the JCF continues to support the municipal backing of the falla movement and facilitates that the groups have resources to promote their activities during 2026. The resolution also reminds the beneficiary entities of their obligations regarding subsidies, transparency, and dissemination of the aid received.
The falla groups are coordination structures that group together several commissions from the same territorial or thematic area, and their work is key to the organization of joint events and the projection of the festival in the neighbourhoods.
