Around twenty senior institutional officials will attend the Entrada de Moros y Cristianos in Ontinyent this Friday. Minister Diana Morant and the president of the Diputación, Vicent Mompó, lead the list.
The Authorities' Tribune at the Entrada de Moros y Cristianos in Ontinyent will feature a strong institutional presence this Friday. According to the City Council, around twenty senior officials from the Government of Spain, the Generalitat Valenciana, and the Diputación de Valencia will accompany the mayor, Jorge Rodríguez, at one of the central events of the festivities, declared of International Tourist Interest.
The list is headed by the Minister of Science, Technology and Universities, Diana Morant, alongside the Vice President of the Generalitat and Minister of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery, Vicente Martínez Mus, and the Minister of Justice, Transparency and Participation, Nuria Martínez. Also attending will be the president of the Diputación de Valencia, Vicent Mompó; Vice President Natàlia Enguix; the Deputy of Finance and Mayor of Carlet, Laura Sáez; and the Deputy of Tourism, Pedro Cuesta.
The regional representation is completed by the Secretary for Transparency and Participation, Carmen Uriol, and the Commissioner for Reindustrialization, Jaime Peris. In the parliamentary sphere, the presence of senators Enric Morera and Estela del Carmen Darocas is expected, as well as national deputies Cristina Moreno, Víctor Camino and Àgueda Micó.
From the Corts Valencianes, the spokesperson José Muñoz and deputies Benjamín Mompó, Romina del Rey, José Luis Lorenz, Raquel Cámara, Jesús Pla and Nathalie Torres will attend. Provincial deputies Dolors Gimeno and Vicent Mascarell will also join, along with the president of the Mancomunitat de Municipis de la Vall d'Albaida, Ismael Sanvíctor.
Additionally, numerous mayors from the Valencian Community and a wide representation from the business world and local associations and groups will occupy the tribune. Anticipation also extends to the Entrada de Bandas this Thursday, which will feature the presence on the balconies of the City Hall of the mayor of Sueca, Julián Sáez, and the general director of À Punt, Román Ceballos, among other personalities.
The public Valencian radio and television will send a news team to cover the event, and the Catalan regional television TV3 has also confirmed coverage. The Entrada this Friday will start in the afternoon and will parade through the streets of the historic centre of Ontinyent, a procession that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
