The Youth Department of Alaquàs has organised two camps in July with great participation: 27 young people in Castalla and 30 in Moraira.

July has left an unforgettable experience for more than fifty young people from Alaquàs. The Youth Department of the Town Hall has promoted two summer camps that combined adventure, sport, and camaraderie, with a total participation of 57 individuals.

The first outing was to Castalla, where 27 young people spent five days, from July 1 to 5. During their stay, they took part in hiking routes, scavenger hunts, cooperative games, sports activities, and pool days, as well as a visit to a water park. There was also time for an excursion to the beach where they practiced kayaking and explored the municipality of Castalla, its points of interest, and its heritage. The evenings were dedicated to gatherings and group dynamics that strengthened the bonds among participants.

The second proposal took 30 young people to the Moraira Camp, from July 19 to 26. There, they enjoyed a week on the coast with outdoor activities, workshops, games, sports, and team-building dynamics. The programme also included a visit to Moraira, where they could discover its most representative sites and coastal environment.

This initiative is part of the campaign “Let’s Recover Smiles, Let’s Grow Dreams”, organised by the Town Hall of Alaquàs and subsidised by the Ministry of Youth and Childhood.

According to municipal sources, the outcome could not be more positive: the young people returned home with new friendships, shared moments, and a strong desire to participate again in future editions. Camaraderie and learning have been the main highlights of weeks that will undoubtedly remain in the memories of the participants.
