The Valencia City Council has put out to tender the renewal of the air conditioning equipment at the Palau Velòdrom Lluís Puig, with a budget of 115,963.73 euros and an execution period of three months.

The contract, lasting three months, is tendered at a price of 115,963.73 euros, VAT included. Interested companies can submit their bids as part of this open procedure.
This action is part of a comprehensive improvement plan for the venue in preparation for the 2027 European Indoor Athletics Championships, which will bring together the best athletes from the continent in the city. In total, the plan amounts to nearly 1.9 million euros, aimed at infrastructure, sports equipment, and services.
In addition to the air conditioning, the plan includes the construction of an adjacent prefabricated modular building, the installation of a new sports flooring, and the renewal of the electronic system for raising the curves of the athletics track, which will allow it to meet the highest demands of international competition.
In recent years, the venue has already received other improvements, such as the renewal of LED lighting, enhancements to the energy efficiency of the building, updates to the indoor spaces, and modernization of the fire protection systems, among other interventions aimed at increasing the functionality, accessibility, and sustainability of the facility.
With these investments, the Valencia City Council aims for the Palau Velòdrom Lluís Puig to provide the best conditions to host one of the major sporting events the city will celebrate in the coming years.
