The Agricultural Council of Valencia awards the collection and recycling service for agricultural plastics for the 2026 and 2027 campaigns, ensuring continuity in the garden.
The Agricultural Council of Valencia, presided over by José Gosálbez, has awarded the contract for the collection, treatment, and recycling of agricultural plastic waste in the Valencia garden area. The service will be operational during the 2026 and 2027 campaigns and aims to facilitate the proper management of this waste among farmers.
The contract, lasting two years, includes the supply, placement, collection, and transportation of specific containers for agricultural plastics, as well as their subsequent treatment and recycling at authorized facilities.
Gosálbez emphasized that “those who work the garden deserve an administration that makes things easier for them, not one that puts more obstacles in their way. With this service, we ensure an effective management of agricultural plastics so that our farmers can focus on what truly matters: producing.”
The councillor insisted that the commitment of the Agricultural Council is “to stand by those who keep L’Horta de Valencia alive with useful services, practical solutions, and management that responds to their real needs. Fewer procedures and more support for our farmers.”
With this award, the agency reaffirms its commitment to maintaining services that contribute to the proper functioning of agricultural activity and the care of the rural environment.
Farmers in the Valencia garden will be able to continue depositing their agricultural plastics in the designated containers, without interruptions, during the upcoming campaigns.
