The Medieval Market of Alaquàs returns from August 28 to 30 with crafts, gastronomy, and performances next to the Castle. There will be 18 artisan stalls, a children's area, and dance performances.
The Medieval Market of Alaquàs returns on the last weekend of August to fill the surroundings of the Castle with history. The event, organised by the City Council of Alaquàs, will take place on August 28, 29, and 30 from 18:00 to 02:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 18:00 to 00:00 on Sunday.
The fair will bring together 18 artisans, including members of the Asociación Mans Artesanes d'Alaquàs and other local creators. The AMIAR collective and the Ahlam Alaquàs-Friends of Dance group will also participate, offering dance performances in the surroundings of the Castle several times a day.
Attendees will be able to browse stalls featuring ceramics, accessories, miniatures, scrapbooking, and other disciplines, as well as a food area with cured meats, cheeses, honey, pastries, nougat, and other sweets. All food products must be handmade to maintain the traditional spirit of the fair.
Additionally, there will be a traditional crafts area where visitors can see the creation of items using techniques passed down through generations. Children will have a dedicated area for games and activities.
The market will be located in the streets around the Castle, a setting that recreates the atmosphere of the medieval era each year with shows, puzzles, and leisure proposals for all audiences.
