The journalist and writer from Burjassot Pere Ferrer Sanchis will present his book 30 stories of love and a desperate poem on Thursday, September 17 in the Audiovisual Room of the Casa de Cultura in Burjassot, starting at 19:00 hours.
The work, published by NPQ Editores of the Sargantana Editorial Group, brings together a collection of stories written over the last 30 years. In them, stories of love in its multiple forms intertwine: romantic love, familial love, paternal love, friendship, or the love felt for one’s own profession.
The author also explores the love that we sense or imagine between strangers, as well as the love we show towards acquaintances and neighbours. But, like reality, the book also reveals its opposite side: heartbreak, disaffection, and detachment.
Ferrer, trained as a journalist and specialised in corporate communication, has worked in communication agencies and media, in addition to collaborating with radio stations. He has also taught Communication and PR at ESIC Business School Valencia and currently works at the agency Agua y Sal Comunicación.
The event is open to the public and offers the residents of Burjassot the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the author’s perspective on the different forms of love, in a meeting that will take place in the Audiovisual Room of the Casa de Cultura.
