On September 1, the Sequieta park in Alaquàs will host the first children's race of the municipality's festivities, featuring five events for ages 0 to 16.
Alaquàs is launching a sporting event this year aimed at the youngest. Next Tuesday, September 1, the Sequieta park will host the first children's race of the municipality's festivities, a day that will start at 18:30 and last until approximately 20:30.
The activity, organised by Triculpelat Alaquàs in collaboration with the Town Hall, includes five races with routes and distances adapted to each age. Children born between 2026 and 2009, that is, from babies to 16 years old, will be able to participate.
Interested individuals must arrive 30 minutes before the start of each event. At the finish line, participants will find liquid refreshments to replenish their energy after the effort.
Registrations are free and are already open online through the Dorsal 1 website (dorsal1.com). The deadline for online registration ends on Friday, August 28 at 23:59. On the day of the race, there will also be last-minute registrations from 17:30, until 15 minutes before each start, although the organisers warn that a spot is not guaranteed and recommend booking in advance.
The collection of race numbers will take place on the day of the event, between 17:30 and 18:30, at the Constitution Square in Alaquàs. For more information, you can check the Triculpelat website or write to the club's email.
With this initiative, the municipality aims to promote grassroots sports in a playful and festive environment, during the local celebrations. The organisers encourage families to prepare their trainers for an afternoon of sport and fun.
