The Local Government Board has awarded Eulen Servicios Sociosanitarios the comprehensive management of the La Purísima day centre for dependent elderly people, for 3.3 million euros and a four-year contract. The centre offers 50 places for the elderly from Ciutat Vella, Benimaclet, and Salvador Allende.
The Valencia City Council awarded this Friday to the company Eulen Servicios Sociosanitarios the comprehensive management of the La Purísima Day Centre for dependent elderly people, a service that provides coverage for 50 places and will be in effect for the next four years. The contract, amounting to €3,364,800.65, was approved by the Local Government Board following a public tender in which nine companies participated.
The municipal Contracting Board proposed the offer presented by Eulen as the best after evaluating the criteria set out in the terms of reference. The firm will be responsible for the care and rehabilitation of users, as well as the maintenance and comprehensive management of the centre, located in the city.
The La Purísima centre meets the demand from the territorial areas of the Municipal Social Services Centres of Ciutat Vella, Benimaclet, and Salvador Allende, three areas of Valencia with an aging population and specific care needs. The 50 places are intended for elderly people in a situation of dependency, a profile that requires specialized attention.

With this contract, the council ensures the continuity of a service that has already been operating and will now have a new private manager under municipal supervision.
