The L'Eliana Cinema festival is open for registration until 31 August for its 72 Hours Section, a challenge that tests filmmakers' creativity.
The L'Eliana Cinema Short Film Festival, organised by the cultural association LECinema and the Town Hall of L'Eliana, is accepting entries until Monday 31 August for the 72 Hours Section of its tenth edition. Interested parties can formalise their participation through the form available on the official website of the festival.
In this category, teams, whether professional, amateur, or new creators, will have to conceive, shoot, and finish a short film in just 72 hours. To do this, they will need to use a location assigned by lottery and must incorporate a surprise element that will be revealed at the start of the challenge. A proposal that tests the creativity, technical ability, and speed of the participants.

As a prelude to the main event, on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25, the Cinema d'Estiu will screen 'Inquilinos', directed by Daniel Amar and Carlota Aparisi, winner of the first prize in the International Section of the festival in 2016. The screening will precede that of the film 'La luz', by Fernando Franco.
On Monday 31, coinciding with the closing of the Cinema d'Estiu, the 'Nit Galàctica' will be held, a special evening dedicated to Valencian fantasy and science fiction. The session will include the screening of six short films: 'Tristan la lía', 'Conspiraciones absurdas', 'Last trial', 'Rebel storm', 'Sigue contando', and 'Cuy'val Dar'. The directors of the works will present their projects and share details of their creative processes with the audience.
Entry will be free with an invitation through Elientrada.
The main week of programming will take place from 11 to 20 September and will include a session of Cinema a la Fresca, a children's workshop, screenings, talks with directors, and the final gala, details of which will be announced soon.
