The Alaquàs Town Council is organising a cultural theatrical itinerary on Monday, August 31, to discover the layout of the irrigation channels of the Sequieta, the Terç, the Rollet, and the Dijous. Entry is free with an online invitation.
On Monday, August 31, at 18:30 hours, the Alaquàs Town Council has organised a cultural theatrical route to introduce the public to the layout of the irrigation channels of the Sequieta, the Terç, the Rollet, and the Dijous, as well as the heritage linked to water and its relationship with the daily lives of the residents.
The itinerary, named 'Les Sèquies d'Alaquàs', is coordinated by Vía Heraclia and features the participation of Teatro a Destajo. The actors will authentically, casually, and dynamically portray what life was like in a village of the Valencian orchard: the gardens, diseases, irrigation channels and floods, ancient fountains, and traditional agricultural trades.
The activity, which is educational in nature, is designed for all audiences and spaces are limited. Entry is free, but an online invitation is required, which can be obtained from 10:00 hours on Wednesday, August 26 at the website www.alaquas.org/entradas.
Each person can obtain a maximum of 4 invitations and it is necessary to be over 14 years old to request them. The invitation will be provided as a QR code that must be shown at the entrance, without the need to print it.
